Last week, I shared The Wimpy Vegetarian, Susan Pridmore’s show-stopping Vegetarian Thanksgiving Side dishes and Mains, as well as my husband’s grandma’s fresh cranberry and fruit relish. Now Susan posted another blog post about other fabulous things to serve at a vegetarian-friendly Thanksgiving–appetizers, desserts, breads, condiments and drinks.

As I mentioned last week, I’m no Thanksgiving Specialist. As a matter of fact, when I host a dinner party, it’s on a much smaller scale and I always forget about desserts and drinks. I know for many that’s the most important part, but I get the “Asian Tan” and get sick from alcohol and don’t like sweets so they are always afterthoughts.

Those rock star party hostesses like the Marthas and Susans of the world of course think about everything from start to finish. So I’m going to share Susan’s resources once again to make your vegetarian Thanksgiving easier, more festive and exciting.

If you are wondering, “Is Mari going to keep reposting Susan’s amazing recipes forever?”, this is it, at least for a while. After Thanksgiving, I’m going to post more of my own content to help your meal time to be way easier, faster, and stress-free.

Ok. Back to Thanksgiving dishes…

Take a look…

How about these gorgeous appetizers, like these caramelized onion tartlets…

I really shouldn’t be writing this post this late at night as these photos are making me super hungry… I just made a pact with myself that I no longer do after dinner snacks let alone midnight snacks, but these look soooo tempting…

Maybe I should just eat these only with my eyes and not my mouth right now…

And these delectable Jalapeno Poppers Gougere?

They are like savory cream puff (sans cream) and have a lot of cheese in them. They are super addictive. I used to make them for parties and stuff, but I haven’t for a while. And I absolutely love the idea of adding jalapeno for a little kick!

And these cute little miso mashed potato stuffed mushrooms…

By the way, if you have any leftover mashed potatoes from Thanksgiving, this will be super easy to make. They are great for parties, but also great to eat as snack or appetizer before meals. You can also stuff with different fillings. For example, stuff your mushrooms with pureed white beans, sauteed mirepoix mixed with feta cheese, etc. It’s fun to make many different varieties with your leftovers.

If you learn how to utilize your leftovers, they will become a true workhorse for you. I promise.

Oh, talking about the Thanksgiving leftovers, on Friday November 29th, the morning after Thanksgiving, I’m going to host a Facebook Live to answer your questions about what to do with your leftovers. So please come join me! If you are already on my mailing list, you will get an official invitation and reminder with the actual time.

If you haven’t signed up for my mailing list yet, please do so from here now while it’s fresh in your mind, so that you can ask your questions LIVE. These tips are applicable for everyday leftovers as well (especially rotisserie chicken), and will be sure to save you lots of time in the kitchen and help you easily create a lot of variety.

When you join, you will also get “10 Simple Meal Prep Tricks Under 1 Hour That Save You Hours In The Kitchen”, as well as customizable “Pantry and Grocery Master List & Shopping Tips” and “Must Have Time-Saving Kitchen Tools List” as a thank you gift!

So there you have it, fabulous Vegetarian-friendly Thanksgiving from appetizers to desserts. If you make any of Susan’s recipes, I’m sure your guests will be impressed!
