It’s finally here, I’m so excited to launch my new blog on my brand spanking new website! Woohoo!
To get started, I was wondering what the very first topic should be…
I could write about so many different things, but what’s on everyone’s mind right now? That’s right!
It’s Thanksgiving! (At least in the US.)
Rather than writing about it I decided I would share this fabulous resource from my favorite recipe blogger, Susan Pridmore of The Wimpy Vegetarian.
As in the title of her blog, these Thanksgiving side dish recipes are all vegan or vegetarian, but they are all fresh-tasting and exciting. So I decided to introduce you to her wonderful creations. After all, aren’t we all trying to eat more fresh vegetables, and dishes that taste as good as non-vegetables?
Well, that’s what she’ll give you. As you will see, these dishes would be great for Thanksgiving or any time on your table.
I’ve tried quite a few of her recipes, and they are all delicious.
In addition to the recipes, you will find Thanksgiving planning tips that keep your day running smoothly and your sanity intact. Invaluable!
Now, you may be asking me why I’m not writing my own Thanksgiving recipes and tips?
Well, I was born and raised in Japan, so I’m not a Thanksgiving specialist, I’m normally a guest or helper, not the host. Instead, my speciality is how to use up all the turkey and other leftovers without getting bored. That’s where I shine.
Right before Thanksgiving, I’ll share my tips and tricks for leftovers in a subsequent blog post. So keep an eye out.
So without further ado… Here’s Susan’s delicious Thanksgiving side dish recipes!
So what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish, and what do you like about it?
