How are you doing lately?
How are things in the area you live? How are you and your loved ones doing during this unprecedented time?
Many people are super stressed out: everyone is stuck at home, their favorite foods and go-to supplies are quickly disappearing from the shelves.
It’s so upsetting and unsettling! I get that. I’m scared too… of what may or may not happen.
How about you?
Now we are forced to cook all meals at home with limited ingredients without wasting anything and many people don’t know how. Yet it’s critical during a time like this.
It’s already been almost 3 weeks since “shelter in place” has been in effect in California… and it’s just been extended until May 3rd at least.
How about in your area?
In any case, that adds to even more anxiety about the future.
Eating healthier is even more important now so that we can keep our immune system strong and stay healthy. It also reduces our stress-levels and helps minimize our risk of getting sick.
Many of you told me that you are worried about:
- How to cook without my usual ingredients?
- What do we do if this food shortage gets worse?
- How can we keep our immune system strong during a time like this?
- How can I cook all meals at home with my kids around?
- How can I stretch my food and make sure not to waste all the food I have?
- How can I avoid a food rut, now that all the restaurants are closed?
To answer these questions, and to help you put together healthy and delicious meals easily day after day, I’ve been doing regular live streaming on Facebook.
The good news is, it’s actually a great time to pick up a new essential life skill like cooking that will contribute to your family’s health and happiness for years to come.
As you see in my short videos, it’s a lot easier and more fun than you think.
Here are the videos of some quick and easy recipe ideas on how to repurpose your leftovers and other stuff you have in the fridge.
